Gestures and spoken words are found and captured in between streamed virtual and physical microelectronic lab spaces, encoded by the artist into visual and textual poetry with post-VR vibes.
In virtual worlds we are used to bundling with floating limbs to get some bodily awareness. These alienated blue hands are guiding us into other domains. Human gestures are familiar, still rather mechanical in symbiosis with machines.
Recordings are collected during a virtual visit in ENASThe Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nano Systems laboratories. Selected artists were working together with individual artistic-scientific projects in workshops during two months.
Texts are encoded from the oral explanations while having the tour in labs with deficiency of deep understanding about inter-atomic interactions and quantum mechanical properties.
This project and exhibition rebuts myths of artistic and scientific practices by finding the shared interests. The work is also examining the chroma key compositing in reversed way.
