Meditative space between virtual and actual domains where it is hard to define if the substance is protruding or excavating.

Juts, limbs and dents are in boundless and endless movement in transformation. The work is developed following the idea, also human is an event, not fixed casting, not fixed in given roles by cultures, genders, ages. These do not require external development, change happens internally.

Protruding Cavity is a mix of 3D model and mycelium, virtual and natural matters experiment their environments and outlines of themselves.

The production of Protruding Cavity was supported by the Arts Promotion Centre Finland.

2022 To Imagine Their Outlines

solo exhibition as part of the Institute of Coexistence series in WAMx, WAM, Turku City Art Museum (FI) (18th March – 5th June). Framework by Gry Worre Hallberg

The video work is presented along with hydroponics plants, proximity sensors and LED-lights. The Institute is created in response to the current ecological and social crises. Based on artistic research the aim is to reflect on and investigate alternative ways of coexistence.
